Painting by Giorgio Belloni, Mountain Landscape at Dusk, 1884

Oil on canvas painting by Giorgio Belloni (Codogno, 1861 - Azzano di Mezzegra, 1944) depicting a mountain landscape at dusk with a viaticum scene. Signed and dated 1884. Dimensions: circa 130x170 cm. In original gilded frame. It is hypothesized that it was exhibited in the late 1800s and a possible identification of the landscape in Valtellina or another mountain location. A similar work is in the collection of the Palazzo Pitti Gallery in Florence.
