Original edition, valuable and rare volume, a jewel of twentieth-century typographic art; printed under the care of a refined Polish publisher, resident in Florence, whose book production was very limited and today extremely rare (this volume is the 16th published);
The subject matter is also interesting, relating to the thoughts and observations of one of the most renowned international art writers and critics, Adolfo Venturi, whose signature is dry-stamped and colored in red on the front cover of the massive full parchment binding; the work, dedicated to "Maria flower of my life" collects travel impressions through numerous Italian locations, from Falconara Marittima, to Siena, Rome, Turin, Pisa, Venice, Rapallo, Ravello, Brunate, San Remo, Milan... and other locations; edition in perfect state of conservation, never leafed through, excellently bound, quality paper, elegant printing characters, with the publisher's autograph signature at the colophon, with typographic indications, Nicolas Cochin characters on paper from the Stamperia in one hundred forty-three numbered and signed copies, bound in parchment and not for sale; the book is still in the original editorial cardboard case and the edition is enriched with an autograph dedication by Venturi; copy of literary, artistic, bibliographic interest; very rare, currently only three known copies in the Italian national library system.
