Laccabue Ligabun Ligabue - Art Edition with Original Engravings

Art edition Laccabue Ligabun Ligabue with an unpublished writing by Cesare Zavattini and presentation by Renato Nicolai, published in Rome by Salemi in 1977 on behalf of Edizioni del Maestro dell'ES. Format: cm 47 x 34. The work includes five original etchings by Ligabue engraved in the 1950s, pulled with a hand press on Pescia paper from the Miliani di Fabriano paper mill at the M2M art printing house in Rome: Self-portrait, Pointer with night landscape, Cockfight, Hare, Crawling Leopard. It also contains a copy of the typescript “L'Altro Inizio” edited by Bagnasco-Zavattini. There are also two engravings: one on zinc from an etching by Zavattini depicting Ligabue, and one taken from the woodcut by Arnaldo Bartoli dedicated to a square in Guastalla. Editorial binding in heavy cardboard illustrated with a portrait of Ligabue, canvas spine with lettering.
