Rare ancient edition, volume containing a selection of letters that the famous scientist from Como exchanged with some of his contemporaries, correspondence with many scientific references, and integrated with an illustrative plate; also included in the volume is a "Eulogy" of Volta, edited by Pietro Configliachi, a eulogy that was read at the University of Pavia, in conjunction with the inauguration of a bust of the scientist.
Very rare volume, currently no copy is available in the Italian national library system; one copy is present in the Library of the University of Berkeley (California, United States) and another copy at the American Philosophical Society (Philadelphia, United States)
