Interesting old and period edition, an imposing and rare edition relating to the history, art, architecture, and topography of the famous Monastery of Padula, a beautiful example of the art of the Carthusian monks, a large monumental complex in the province of Salerno, almost on the border with Basilicata; a remarkable work of historical and visual documentation, a beautiful rare folio edition, embellished with countless illustrations and many plates - full-page and double-page - that attempt to give an idea of the rich artistic and historical-documentary apparatus accumulated by the structure over the centuries; overall, a work consisting of four large volumes, the contents of which are summarized on their respective title pages:
