Ignazio D'Anzeo: Carpino, the town and its people - Photo Exhibition

Photographic exhibition of Ignazio D'Anzeo, curated by Pietro Vocale. D'Anzeo (San Severo, 30-6-1932 – Carpino, 12-2-1978) moved to Carpino in 1959 (registered in the registry office in 1960), to his maternal uncles De Cata, in the family palace in via Calvario. He opened the photographic studio "Laboratori Prisma" in via Maestra n.44. The exhibition, held in August 1999, celebrates the work of the photographer and engraver, also active at the Academy of BB. AA. of Foggia. D'Anzeo's work is influenced by Atget, Brassai and Strand and documents the life and landscape of Carpino, including local uses, customs and traditions.
